We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.

• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during peak hours.

• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

• Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.

• Clean and organise kitchen equipment and work areas regularly.

• Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input for new dishes.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.

• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.

• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.

• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
